The Addictive Behaviours Laboratory at the University of Calgary is headed by Dr. David C. Hodgins, Ph.D. Clinical Psychology. The primary focus of research in the Addictive Behaviours Laboratory is substance abuse and gambling addiction. Projects in this lab are focused on various aspects of the psychology and physiology of gambling behavior. As well, research is conducted into the clinical condition of pathological gambling and potential treatment approaches.
